Health practitioners and others with health-related interests from across the globe are invited to participate in a unique opportunity this September. They can join their colleagues in a series of eHealth webinars, entitled “Grand Rounds”, coordinated by a consortium of international research and education networks. The six eHealth Grand Rounds sessions fall under the broad headings of eHealth, Child and Adolescent Health and Cardiology, and are being coordinated by the MAGIC project, and the champion, Dr Luiz Messina from the Brazilian University Telemedicine Network project (RUTE).
The MAGIC project (Middleware for collaborative Applications and Global vIrtual Communities), aims to significantly improve the ability of researchers and academicians around the world to collaborate, and promotes and supports four very specific virtual communities of a global nature (e-Health, Biodiversity, Environment and Remote Instrumentation), each moderated by a champion who is an expert in the field.
The Grand Rounds series will be held each Tuesday, from September 6 to October 11, 2016. Participants can participate from anywhere in the world, interacting through the virtual platform called, Colaboratorio, designed specifically to enable communities to interact, but also affords a secure, virtual space for continued collaboration.
The eHealth sessions will be held from 1300-1500 GMT:

· September 13, 2016 - Cardiology I
· September 20, 2016 - eHealth II
· September 27, 2016 - Child and Adolescent Health
· October 04, 2016 - eHealth III
· October 11, 2016 - Cardiology II
Presenters come from a variety of disciplines and countries, such as Mexico, India, Russia, Brazil and Tunisia.
